Provenance

Provenance answers: where did this reading come from, and how was it ingested?

Required provenance fields

• source_system — stable string id (e.g. com.apple.health, dexcom, abbott.librelinkup, app.manual)
• raw_event_id — dedupe key from the source; must not introduce PII beyond what the source already exposes
• adapter_version — semver of the OGT adapter that produced the canonical event
• ingested_at — RFC 3339 UTC ingestion timestamp

Privacy note

Sensor serial numbers and account identifiers should use hashed or opaque forms where vendors require it. See source-system guidance for LibreLinkUp in the interoperability repository.
